Some BH Commissioners Call 'Bad Timing' On Planned Public Hearing



As the Benton Harbor Emergency Manager prepares to hold a public hearing to address a two-year budget, some City Commissioners are upset the meeting is taking place during the work day. Commissioner Marcus Muhammad thinks 2 p.m. is the wrong time to hold discussion on such an important issue.

The hearing begins Tuesday at two-o'clock in City Hall. The budgets need to be adopted under the Emergency Manager before the City returns to local control.
