An investigation into a train vs. pedestrian accident is ongoing in Buchanan Township. Michigan State Police say an 18-year old Niles Township man rolled his vehicle several times Tuesday morning on Galien-Buchanan Road. The teen then walked from the scene and was struck by an Amtrak Train, about 500-yards from Bakertown Road. He was rushed to South Bend Memorial Hospital where he is in critical, but stable condition. Police say alcohol may have played a factor in the double-accident.
