Pscholka: Snyder's State Of State Goals Attainable

State Representative Al Pscholka of Stevensville believes a good deal of what Governor Snyder laid out in his fourth State of the State address Thursday night is attainable. One item that really stuck out to him is expanding early childhood education funding.

Snyder will be proposing another $65 million for early childhood education when he gives lawmakers his budget next month. The governor noted over the past three years, Michigan has stopped losing population.

Pscholka said the one thing that surprised him a bit, and happily so, was the governor calling on the state to do more to fight invasive species like Asian carp.
