Amtrak Train No. 353 has made it to Chicago. The more than 200-passengers on board were stranded Sunday near Niles due to snow and freezing temperatures. The train stalled on the tracks about 45-minutes southeast of Niles around 4 p.m. The train's heat, lights and restrooms still worked. Amtrak officials say passengers were safe on the stalled train. It was later connected with another westbound train and arrived in Chicago around 1:30 CST Monday. Meanwhile Amtrak canceled Pere Marquette Train 371 and Wolverine Trains 352 & 353 for Monday.
