Weather Impacting Mail Delivery In Southwest Michigan

The motto may be "Neither snow, nor rain, nor heat, nor gloom of night, stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds," but there are parts of southwest Michigan that won't be getting mail due to the weather. Sabrina Todd is the U.S. Postal Service spokeswoman for the state of Michigan and says where the roads are impassible, mail delivery will be delayed a few days including Benton Harbor and St. Joseph.

Todd asks people to help them out by keeping the area around the mailbox clear of snow. That could include shoveling or snow blowing out around the mailbox along the street as well.
