Whirlpool Corporation has announced it's moving some manufacturing jobs from Mexico to the United States. Production of its commercial front-load washing machines are traveling from Monterrey, Mexico to Clyde, Ohio. Whirlpool says the relocation will increase operational efficiencies and align with the company's strategy of building products in the regions where they are primarily sold. Approximately 80 to 100 new jobs will be created in Clyde during the next three years. Production should begin April of 2014.
