When It Comes To Football Denny Dock Calls It A Career



"There are too many people to thank." That's what Denny Dock said at a press conference Friday afternoon announcing his retirement from coaching the Lakeshore Lancers football team. Dock, who has been head coach for 26-years, wishes everyone could have the same opportunity he's had.

When asked about his legacy, Dock was positive.

During a head coaching career that lasted 33-years, Dock won 263 games, putting him 15th all-time in the state of Michigan. Dock says he'll now have extra time to spend with his grandchildren and for traveling. He also plans to continue to coach Lakeshore girls softball.
