Autopsy Today On Body Found In St. Joseph River

The Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety is continuing to investigate the discovery Saturday of a body in the St. Joseph River. An autopsy is set for today to try to determine how 34-year-old Dewayne Flowers of Benton Harbor died. His body was found by a diving club behind the Chase Bank building, lodged between rocks. Flowers was listed as a parole absconder by the state on November 9th and was last seen alive by family members on November 10th. He had not been reported missing. Investigators say there were no obvious injuries on his body when he was pulled out of the water.
