Weapon, Booze, Drugs Found During Coloma Schools Lockdown Drill



A Coloma High School student could be facing charges after a weapon, alcohol and drugs were found in a vehicle in the high school parking lot during a lockdown drill. Police found the material thanks to K9 units from New Buffalo after four cars were indicated by the dogs. Eight lockers were searched in the high school and junior high school thanks to indications from the dogs as well. Nothing was found inside the school. Coloma Township Police have turned their investigation over to the Berrien County Prosecutor, and the student is being disciplined initially by the school district.
