Upton's Energy And Commerce Committee Wants Answers

Republicans on a House panel looking into the government's troubled health insurance website say the problems reflect deeper flaws in the Affordable Care Act. At a hearing today, Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Fred Upton and others accused administration officials of misleading Congress with repeated assurances that the rollout of the new health care law is on track.

Democrats are acknowledging the website problems but defending the law itself. They say Republicans are trying to sabotage the law instead of fixing it. Contractors who developed testified Thursday, and Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius will be in the hot seat next week.
