It's back to the drawing board for the Berrien County Road Commission in the search for a new managing director. Sources tell WSJM News that new information has come to light which Christopher Olson failed to disclose during the search process and his interview. Because of that, commissioners Tuesday night withdrew their job offer to him. Olson is currently the Benzie County Administrator, but that job will end at the end of this month with his contract not being renewed. In the past six years, Olson has received at least 10 speeding tickets and was given three citations in February on his way to a meeting to discuss Benzie County Sheriff's Department personnel. At the same time, the Berrien County Board of Commissioners has another public hearing set for next Thursday night to discuss taking over the road commission.
