A crash in Van Buren County has claimed a life. The18-year-old girl who was driving died at the scene when she crashed into a tree and rolled the vehicle several times in the 36-thousand block of 64th Avenue in Paw Paw Township just before 6 p.m. Sunday. An 18-year-old male passenger suffered serious head and facial injuries, while a third teen in the car, a 16-year-old girl, suffered some cuts and bruises. All victims were from Paw Paw, and no names have yet been released. Van Buren County deputies say the teen was driving too fast on a dirt road and she lost control when she went over a bridge. Investigators say she was trying to go airborne over the bridge when the crash happened. Grief counselors will be at Paw Paw High School today.
