Two Michigan congressmen are among a group of Republicans meeting Thursday with President Obama about the federal government shutdown. Republicans Fred Upton of St. Joseph and Dave Camp of Midland are expected to be at the White House. In a statement, Upton said people in his southwest Michigan district and across the country have grown tired of "government dysfunction." He called on Democrats and Republicans to "work together to find some real solutions." Upton chairs the House Energy and Commerce Committee, while Camp is the chairman of the powerful House Ways and Means Committee.
