A bill which refunds money to taxpayers is passing the Michigan House. Sponsored by state Representative Aric Nesbitt, the bill works to get rid of unnecessary regulations and fees, returning money to utility customers who paid into the Uncollectible Allowance Recovery Fund. Nesbitt says this continues the Legislature's priority to be more accountable to taxpayers. "These unnecessary regulations and fees create roadblocks for job creators and increase costs on Michigan families." It now goes to the Senate for consideration.
