Man In Zombie Mask Robs Coloma Wesco Station

Just before 3 this morning a lone male entered the Wesco Gas Station on North Paw Paw Street in Coloma, pulled out a black handgun and demanded money. A customer, who was pumping gas outside the store called 911.   The subject fled the store on foot running south with an undetermined amount of cash. A K-9 tracking dog from the Berrien County Sheriff’s Department was called to the scene and tracked the subject for several blocks before losing the scent. The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 30 years of age, 6 feet tall, 200 lbs, blues eyes, clean shaved head with stubble. At the time of the robbery his face covered with a full nylon, flesh toned, zombie mask. He was dressed in a long sleeved light grey or white t-shirt with a darker shirt underneath, dark or colored pants or jeans.   A video of the suspect donning his mask prior to entering the store and then fleeing has been posted to the Coloma Township Police Department’s FaceBook Page.
