To help increase child safety the Berrien Springs-Oronoko Township Police Department is reaching out to the community. During a special class entitled "Community Child Watch" participants will sharpen their skills in observing, recording and reporting suspicious activity in neighborhoods. The crime prevention program will be presented by the police department and is open to any adult living in the Berrien Springs School District. The program begins at 7 p.m. next Tuesday in the Mars Community Center in Berrien Springs. It'll last for one half-hour.
