Hall Park is cleaned up, now the Benton Harbor Parks and Recreation Conservancy wants to show it off. During a "Day of Play" the conservency will host vintage baseball games. Saturday, October 5 the Benton Harbor Livery Brewers will play 1858 rules against three other area clubs; the House of David Echoes, the South Haven Bark Peelers and the Paw Paw Corkers. There will also be a two-inning exhibition with the Benton Harbor Lil' Fillies, an all lady ball club. At 8 p.m. the festivities shift to The Livery in Benton Harbor's Arts District for a concert featuring Chuck Jagers. The ball games and concert are part of a $300,000 fundraising effort on behalf conservancy. There is a suggest donation price of $5 to watch the baseball and $10 to attend the concert.
