Crandall Announces Campaign In 78th House District

Voters in the 78th House District in Berrien County have never sent a Democrat to Lansing, but William Crandall wants to change that. He's announced his campaign for the Democratic nomination to take on Republican incumbent Dave Pagel next November. Among the things Crandall wants to do is repeal Right To Work laws, which he believes are harmful to the economy.

Crandall lives in Baroda and works for both Berrien RESA in Berrien Springs and as a political columnist for the "Niles Daily Star." He tells WSJM News he'll be out at the Berrien County Fair every night this week to talk to voters who are interested in hearing his message and want a change in Lansing. Dave Pagel is currently in his first term representing the district, having previously served on local school boards and the Berrien County Board of Commissioners.
