A marijuana grow operation has been discovered, by a group of kids picking cherries. The kids and their father were out picking cherries in Paw Paw when they came across about 50-marijuana plants in a corn field in the 46000 block of Country Road 380. Van Buren County sheriff's deputies pulled the plants and plan to destroy them. The sheriff's department says the grower is taking advantage of the farmer's water and fertilizer. In cases like this, whoever planted the pot will most likely come back before the corn is harvested.
