A call to Benton Harbor Police yesterday (Sunday) morning ended up with a second call to the Sheriff's Department's SWAT team as they tried to flush out a potentially armed man from the basement of a home at 360 John Street in the city. After some three hours of trying to convince 20-year-old Jovan Dorsey to surrender, police eventually sent in one of their canine units. Dorsey suffered a bite wound to his hand, gave up and was arrested on charges of domestic violence and probation violation. Nobody else was hurt in the incident.
