Road work planned for New Buffalo starts Monday. The Michigan Department of Transportation will repave 1.6-miles of US-12 from Red Arrow Highway to the south branch of the Galien River near New Buffalo. The $6.9-million investment includes a new Squaw Creek culvert, guardrails and drainage upgrades. If you drive that rout be sure to plan for single lane closures and backups. The project is scheduled to last through late October.
