After robbing a man at gunpoint during a botched drug deal, a Niles teen is headed to prison. 17-year old DeQuan Demarro Briggs pleaded guilty Monday to larceny from a person and having a firearm during the commission of a felony. Back in October Briggs robbed a man of cash and an iPod at gunpoint because he felt he was cheated in a drug deal. Briggs was sentenced in Berrien County Trial Court, between the two charges he'll serve a total of five years. Briggs was given 174 days credit already served.
