BH And KitchenAid Talk Future Senior PGA Tourneys

After a presentation by KitchenAid representatives, the City of Benton Harbor is on board to bringing the Senior PGA Championship back to Harbor Shores Golf Course. VP of Whirlpool Jeff Noel shared some results of the 2012 tournament in Benton Harbor. 2,000 volunteers from 27 states were in town to help out with the event while over 50,000 spectators visited the area. 250 part time jobs were created as a result of the championship.

A resolution was passed to support KitchenAid's initiative to bring the tournament back in 2016 and 2018.

That's Commissioner Marcus Muhammad reflecting on the importance of the relationship between the city, community and Whirlpool.
