The owner of the Lucky 7 convenience store in Niles will head to trial in August for allegedly selling counterfeit goods. Ahmad Hassan of South Bend has been bound over for trial after Michigan State Police found more than 100 items believed to be name brand knock-offs in the store in January. They included fakes of items with tags reading Gucci, Nike, Ralph Lauren and Oakley among others. If convicted, Hassan faces up to five years in prison.
