Names Released In Benton Harbor Murder

Benton Harbor public safety, the FBI and the Berrien County Sheriff's Department are on the hunt for a murder suspect out of Benton Harbor. Officers are looking for 21-year-old Isaiah Casnave, who is accused of shooting and killing 24-year-old Tanita Broyles at her home in the 600 block of Madison in Benton Harbor. Her body was found Friday morning. Neighbor Chuck Little tells WSJM News she hadn't lived there long.

The search for Casnave took police to COGIC Village in Benton Harbor and a home in Kalamazoo County yesterday, with no luck. Anyone with information on where to find the suspect is urged to call the Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety, Crime Stoppers or 9-1-1. He is considered armed and dangerous, and police warn people not to approach him. Casnave is a Benton Harbor High School graduate who had been working at La Pita in St. Joseph. The most recent Facebook post from Casnave was Friday night, complaining that he had cut so many people off that he had no one to talk to.
