Police are combing the lockers at Bangor High School and Middle School, after two pop bottle bombs detonated inside the buildings. Superintendent Ronald Parker said a muffled sound was heard inside one of the high school lockers just after 9:00 a.m. An acid like smell followed the muffled sound. Inside the locker was a green Mountain Dew type plastic bottle which was leaking some acid type substance. The school went into an immediate lockdown. Police found a second bottle in a nearby bathroom in the middle school. All students are safe, police are going through every locker in both schools. A male high school student is on tape admitting to creating and detonating the bombs, he did it on a dare. The student is now in police custody. Area authorities want to reassure everyone this is an isolated incident in Bangor, and not to cause alarm else where.
