After being investigated in 2009 for downloading and sharing child pornography, a Watervliet man faces up to 20-years of prison. U.S. Attorney Patrick Miles, Jr says 51-year old David Alan Inman has pleaded guilty to receiving child pornography videos. Inman confessed to downloading and sharing images and videos via the internet. The case is part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative designed to protect children from online exploitation and abuse. Inman faces a minimum of five years and maximum of 20 years in prison, and will also serve a term of supervised release. Inman will be required to register as a sexual offender.
