A unanimous vote by the Bridgman Public Schools Board is agreeing to ratify a new contract with teachers. The Bridgman Education Association, the labor group which represents the district's teachers and the schools board have agreed to a new three year contract. Salary increases of 1.5% will happen in year one, 1% in year two, and steps with no raises in year three. Health insurance concessions in all three years, plus teachers have the option to stay with their current insurance plan or another quality insurance plan with less expensive premiums for both the district and the employee. The current contract was set to expire at the end of June.
