Two Gobles High School students are recovering from injuries sustained when the car they were driving flipped and crashed. Thursday afternoon, Shawn Steinman and Jamie Summerville were in the 34000 Block of 24th Avenue in Bloomingdale Township when Steinman lost control of the car. Steinman was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle, Summerville had a set belt on and was able to free himself from the car after the wreck. The 17-year old's had just left class at the Van Buren County Vo-Tech center in Lawrence, and were coming back home to Gobles. Summerville was taken by family to a local hospital for treatment. Steinman, the driver, was transported to Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo where he's listed in serious condition.
