The Stray Dog is Getting Ready to Reopen

A popular New Buffalo restaurant destroyed by fire is eyeing the month of May to reopen. Along with the city's harbor, The Stray Dog Bar and Grille went up in flames last summer. The owners tell NewsCenter 16 the bar, fireplace and back patio will be in the same place as before. More bathroom space has been added along with a full fire suppression system. The building met code before and will meet it again. The cause of last July's fire was ruled electrical.
