Hartford Schools Superintendent Interviews This Week

Hartford Public Schools' assistant superintendent Andy Hubbard is again back in the running for the district's top job. The "Herald-Palladium" reports Hubbard will be interviewed Wednesday night and is one of two finalists after another withdrew for family reasons. Grand Rapids Westwood Middle School principal Arther Garner will be interviewedby the school board Tuesday night. Sparta Middle School principal Joel Stoner dropped out last week after being notified the board wanted him to come in for a second interview. Superintendent Mike Hallgren is stepping down from the post on July 1. He currently handles both that and the business manager job, and will remain as the district's business manager.
