Former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick is headed back to prison for years. The disgraced ex-politician was found guilty of 24 of 30 felony charges in federal court in Detroit in a corruption trial. Co-defendant Bobby Ferguson was convicted of 9 of 11 charges, while Bernard Kilpatrick, the former mayor's father, was found guilty of one charge of the four he faced. The three, along with another man who had already pled guilty, were accused of turning City Hall into their own personal ATM by taking bribes during Kilpatrick's time running the city of Detroit. Jurors reached verdicts on 40 of the 45 charges the men faced, and had come to their decisions on Friday. They decided to take the weekend to sleep on it, and announced the verdicts this morning.
