Whirlpool is Topping Another List

The world's largest home appliance maker is being recognized as one of the world's most admired companies. For the third year in a row, Fortune Magazine has named Whirlpool Corporation World's Most Admired Company in the Home Equipment, Furnishing industry sector. Whirlpool's highest scores in the survey came in the categories of; people management, quality of management and global competitiveness. Others ranked on the list include Tupperware Brands, Newell Rubbermaid and Steelcase. Companies that ranked number one in their respective industries include: Boeing, Nike, Apple, American Express, GE, IBM and Google.
