A company that manages over 100 golf courses throughout the United States is naming its best superintendent. KemperSports, which manages Harbor Shores of Benton Harbor, has named Brad Fry as Superintendent of the Year. The award is given to the most outstanding superintendent in the company.
That's Harbor Shores Director of Sales Brianne Schmidke who praised Fry for preparing the golf course to host the 2012 Senior PGA Championship. Schmidke says the she wouldn't be surprised if Fry wins the award again.
With Harbor Shores set to host the tournament a second time in 2014, Fry will again be in the spot light with getting the course in tip top shape. Fry joined Harbor Shores in 2008 after working at courses in Illinois and Indiana.
