Wolf Gets Contract Extension

Berrien County Administrator Bill Wolf is getting another year on the job. The County Board extended his contract this week through the end of 2015. He will receive a 1% pay raise, which is the same raise all non-union county employees received. Wolf's salary will not be just under $123,000 a year. The board gave him high marks in all six categories of his review, though the vote to extend his deal was not unanimous. Wolf was hired as the county administrator in 2005, and previously served as Berrien County treasurer from 1997 to 2004 and had been Benton Harbor's mayor from 1988 to 1991.
