Jaws of Life Needed in Two Vehicle Accident

A two vehicle crash in Bloomingdale Township required the "Jaws of Life" to rescue a woman from her car Friday morning. Van Buren County Sheriff Deputies reported to Country Road 665 and 24th Avenue where 56-year old Debra Fowler of Bangor was trapped within her car. Fowler had severe injuries to her leg. She was transported to Bronson/Lakeview Hospital for treatment. The second vehicle was an SUV driven by 34-year old Elizabeth Billings of Bloomingdale, she along with her two daughters ages five and three were uninjured. Billings was cited for failing to yield the right of way.
