A Cass County judge has sentenced two men for destroying 75 headstones and monuments in Riverside Cemetery in Dowagiac last year. Combined, they have to pay nearly $17,000 restitution to make the repairs. Judge Michael Dodge sentenced 23-year-old Clayton Warren of Marcellus to 270 days in jail, two years of probation and 200 hours of community service, with credit for 69 days already served behind bars. 19-year-old Enos Butrick of Dowagiac got the same sentence, with credit for 81 days alreay served. Both men apologized for the crime.
