Allegan Man Accused Of Soliciting Minor

A suspected sex predator from Allegan who apparently liked to prey on young girls may have been tripped up by dialing the wrong number. State Police say 24-year-old Robert Cura apparently thought he was texting a 13-year-old girl, soliciting her for sex, but apparently the messages went to a South Haven resident, who called the Southwest Michigan Enforcement Team. They texted the suspect back, posing as the tweener, verifying his intent and setting up a meeting. When the suspect, showed up, he was arrested. A search of his home turned up a laptop and a facebook address showing he had been communicating with a number of other under-aged girls. He is being held for accosting a child under 16 for immoral purposes and was ordered held on 100-thousand dollars bond. There could be more charges as they follow up with the other girls.
