What would you pay to see your state representative jump into an icy cold pool of water? It's pretty open ended, and Representative Al Pscholka is seeking donations for his second such Polar Plunge, set for next Thursday on the lawn of the state Capitol in Lansing. The Stevensville Republican and other lawmakers are raising money for Special Olympics of Michigan.
Pscholka had sought to double last year's funding. You can still donate to the cause by going to firstgiving.com and searching for his name. In 2012, Pscholka jumped in wearing a St. Joseph Bears sweatshirt and a fuzzy, brown bear costume head. He won't say what this year's outfit is yet.
