Vehicle Pursuit in Paw Paw Township

A Paw Paw woman is busted after leading police on a two mile chase on Red Arrow Highway Saturday afternoon. Van Buren County Sheriff Deputies attempted to stop a 1999 Mercury Cougar for erratic driving, the suspect failed to stop leading deputies eastbound on Red Arrow Highway, reaching top speeds of only 45 miles per hour. The car stopped at 41st Street in Paw Paw Township, the 39-year old female driver was highly intoxicated she blew a .26. The woman was arrested and taken to the county jail.
