27 Marijuana Plants Seized in Covert Township

The investigation into a marijuana grow operation in Covert Township continues, after authorities seized 27-marijuana plants, $800-cash and a Mercedes Benz van. On Wednesday, Covert Township Police along with Narcotics Detectives searched a pole barn in the 76-thousand block of 48th Avenue. Inside, the was being remodeled with several individual rooms being built. Two of the rooms housed the grow operation. Authorities indicate three male suspects, two from South Haven, one from Coloma. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Van Buren County Sheriff's Office or Crime Stoppers.
