Michigan's secretary of state wants to add a veterans designation to driver's licenses and ID cards, but Berrien County already has special IDs for those who have served. Lee Lull is the director of the Veterans Service Office for the county and says they have some questions that haven't been answered yet, especially regarding if it will cost vets anything more.
He adds some may still want to have a separate ID card. Secretary of State Ruth Johnson introduced her proposal on Wednesday, and is also calling for a special fundraising license plate for veterans groups.
