Snowmobile Accident in Dowagiac

One woman is injured and a man is in jail after a snowmobile accident Tuesday night in Dowagiac. Police reported to Orchard and West Telegraph Street's, where the 25-year old male driver had ran a stop sign and hit an SUV. 18-year old Kimberly Phillips was also riding the snowmobile, she was injured and taken to the hospital. The 25-year old was arrested for operating an off road vehicle on a public roadway and driving with a suspended license, he is lodged in the Cass County Jail. Phillips was later released from Lakeland Hospital in Niles. The driver and passenger of the SUV were not injured.
