The first microbrewery in Bridgman is set to open this spring. Tapistry Brewing is renovating a vacant downtown building for a new production facility that will have an adjacent tasting room to serve a variety of craft beers and creative menu options. Co-owner Joe Rudnick says Bridgman is a perfect location for a start up brewery.
Tapistry will distribute beer throughout Michigan at first, but plans to expand distribution to northern Indiana and Illinois. Come spring, the business will create between four and six jobs in year one, then plans to grow with demand.
