With on again off again lake effect snow showers in the listening area, winter has shown its teeth this week causing driving conditions to sometimes be downright dangerous. State Trooper Matt Achterberg says when the weather gets bad you need to always be on alert while driving.
For those of you traveling for weekend Super Bowl festivities, Berrien County Undersheriff Chuck Heit says safety needs to be priority number one.
Throughout Michigan, Heit says 166-people were arrested last year for drunk driving on Super Bowl Sunday.
