Tarwacki Murder Trial To Start In May

Keith Lintz will head to trial in May for allegedly killing John and Carolyn Tarwacki at their home near Niles in Cass County three years ago. Cass County Circuit Court Judge Michael Dodge set a pretrial conference for April 8, with a trial date of May 7. Lintz faces two counts of first degree murder and a pair of charges of using a firearm in the commission of a felony. The Tarwackis were found stabbed and shot, and at a preliminary hearing last month, two women who knew Lintz testified he had talked about his link to their deaths. He was arrested last October. The victims managed the Quinlan & Fabish music store in Stevensville at the time of their deaths.
