You did yourself a favor if you were able to stay off midwestern highways yesterday. One truck driver was seriously hurt in a crash on I-94 near Paw Paw yesterday that involved 12 semi's and 8 other vehicles. The mess closed westbound 94 for several hours. They just re-opened I-75 in both directions in Detroit this morning after a sudden snow squall there yesterday caused a multi-vehicle crash that killed 3 people. There were several injuries in another snow induced crash on US 23 south of Flint that closed a stretch of that highway. And a 30 car pile-up in the snow on I-70 near Indianapolis shut that freeway down for most of the evening, injured at least 10 - one of them 'very critically'.
