Weapons and Drug Arrest in Dowagiac

A Dowagiac area man is in jail for possessing marijuana and a sawed off shotgun. Wednesday night, officers made a traffic stop near Oak and East Prairie Ronde Street's in Dowagiac, pot was located on the driver. Police also found a cut down 12-gauge shotgun with ammunition, two knives and more pot. The 20-year old was arrested for two felony weapons charges and possessing marijuana. The suspect is lodged in the Cass County jail awaiting arraignment.
