This Friday will be the first full day on the job for Benton Harbor's newly appointed Emergency Manager. Tony Saunders tells WSJM News he is trying to get adjusted to the city and community but is eager to get started on the job at hand, and that's fixing its financial problems.
Saunders is aware he's not a local, and wants to work with the community to make things right.
Saunders says he has many appointments and meetings with city commissioners and employees come Friday. He says his first order of business though, is establishing an exit strategy.
