Annual Southwest Michigan Wine Evaluation Workshop Next Week



If you're a wine aficionado or just simply like a glass now and then, chances are good you know the quality of local southwest Michigan wines. Next Tuesday, you have the chance to compare them against some of the best in the world at the sixth annual wine evaluation workshop at the Southwest Michigan Research and Extension Center in Benton Harbor. Michigan State University Extension's Diane Brown says experts are going to be on hand.

She says area wines have compared very well in the past to those from around the globe. It will cost you $75 for a ticket before Friday, and the price goes up to $90 after that, and the event includes lunch.
